Depending on the region, about 8–10 hours, with a night departure at 21:00h through North Macedonia and the Bogorodica – Evzoni crossing. You sleep through most of the journey and arrive rested.

Do I need a passport for Greece?
Yes — Greece is in the Schengen Area, so a valid biometric passport is required (an ID card is not enough). From April 2026 the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) also operates at the border (photo and fingerprints).
