The two most popular fingers with tourists — Kassandra and Sithonia — offer different types of coast: Kassandra has long, mostly organised sandy beaches, while Sithonia is wilder, with hidden coves, white sand and pines down to the very water. The loveliest beaches of Sithonia
Sithonia is reckoned the finger with the loveliest beaches of Halkidiki — mostly natural, with white sand and a crystal sea.
- Karydi near Vourvourou (Belgrade to Vourvourou transfer) — one of the most photographed beaches in Greece: a shallow turquoise lagoon, white sand and pines that give shade, without much infrastructure.
- Kavourotripes (Portokali / the “orange beach”) — a string of coves with white rocks and a clear sea, near Sarti (Belgrade to Sarti transfer); one of the most striking beaches of the peninsula.
- Toroni — a very long sandy beach with a Blue Flag and a gradual entry into the sea.
- Lagomandra near Neos Marmaras (Belgrade to Neos Marmaras transfer) — two beaches with a Blue Flag, organised and suitable for families.
- Armenistis — fine white sand and a turquoise sea, with facilities and a well-known campsite nearby.

The loveliest beaches of Kassandra
Kassandra has long sandy beaches, often organised, with beach bars and sun loungers — practical for comfort by the sea.
- Possidi — a sandy cape with a lighthouse in the south of Kassandra; it is made up of three beaches, and the sea is shallow and calm on both sides.
- Sani — white sand and a clear sea, along with the well-known resort and marina.
- Kalithea — one of the loveliest beaches of Kassandra, with a long shallow and a turquoise sea; at the same time the centre of fun.
- Pefkohori (Belgrade to Pefkohori transfer) — a long beach with white sand and greenery, with beach bars and an organised part.
- Glarokavos — a calm beach with soft sand and a shallow, clear sea, by the lagoon near Paliouri.

Beaches for families with children
For the youngest, the best beaches are those with a shallow, calm entry into the sea and a sandy bottom. On Sithonia these are Karydi and Toroni, and on Kassandra Possidi (shallow on both sides of the cape) and Kalithea with its long shallow. All offer a gradual entry, so children can paddle metres from the shore.
How to get to the beaches — minibus transfer from Belgrade
To both fingers we drive by the same route — via North Macedonia and the Bogorodica – Evzoni border crossing, with a night departure at 21:00h. Kassandra is about 700–750 km, so the journey takes 9–10 hours; Sithonia is somewhat further (about 720–790 km) and the journey takes about 10 hours.
